That Extra Second's Pause and Updates

So I branched out a bit and attempted a more complex Celtic Weave than I ever have before. I'm quite pleased with the results, and though I'm not going to exclusively swap to weaves, I'll probably do more in the future. Again I want to extend a thanks to sidneyeileen for her wonderful tutorial.



Went clubbing again a couple of weeks back and had fun, though I did learn that cigarettes are frickin' hot (still have some slight remnants from the burn). And I've been doing a bit of a happy dance of late because we finally got the chance to replace my old monitor. A couple of months back, my 22" died, leaving me working on an old 15" CRT (warranty had expired one month before, of course). My new one makes me a bit giddy inside, though. 23" widescreen flat panel with a top resolution of 2048 by 1152. (Please forgive the bragging, I'm still in that excited, want to pet it everyday stage.) Robert also got a new computer for himself, so we're both more up-to-date technology wise, which is a big relief.

Thanks again, you guys, for the feedback about the Water Revamp. I am pleased with how it came out and it's got me a bit curious about how the other elements would look with a similar update. I've got a design in the works that I've been working on slowly since I finished the zodiac set, so I want to finish that first, but I do plan on re-creating those pieces. If I finish any of them before the deadline for the Kick Your Own ss contest, then I'll submit those instead.

Oh, and if you haven't heard them, might I suggest Fingerprints by Katy Perry and No Floods by Lady Gaga. No Floods especially sounds different from most of the other songs I've heard by her, but I've really loved both songs since finding them.
