For the past two weeks I've been working on converting a manual for the game that Robert, Richard, and I run from an online only version to a PDF version. As of last night, it was completely finished (including conversion since I don't actually have a PDF program). Final page count was 436 pages.

Needless to say I'm quite proud of this. The manual has been my responsibility since about round 9 (rounds are a month long and we're just starting round 40 this month), so to finally have a page count for it is quite a nice feeling.

Now that the manual conversion is out of the way, I'm back to working on the zodiac pieces, and I'll have the Pisces piece done by the end of the week.
On Sunday, Robert and I finally went to get out hair cut. We tend to put this lower on our list of "important things to do" so often it's six months between haircuts. I'm quite pleased as my hair is back into, what I consider, it's proper shape. (Shorter than the image in my devID, really short in the back with the front at about chin length.) It's quite refreshing to have "my" style back.

The weekend before last, Robert, Richard, a couple of our other friends, and I all made our way to a club to check it out. Having never been to a club, myself, it turned out to be a heck of a lot of fun. I've always been a bit reserved, and just do not dance. (I care too much about what people might think or say, even though I know I shouldn't.) The club was awesome, though. We all went to have a good time, and it was pretty obvious that everyone else was there for the same. No one cared if I looked like a moron while shaking my ass, and it was really quite a fun experience. It's definitely something that I want to do again.

In honor of this, I've chosen some of great dance related pieces that I've found around dA for a feature below. Also, I have a question for you guys. What sort of music (artists and/or songs are great) really gets you in the mood to move?
I've been on an upbeat music kick after the club, and am looking for some new stuff to add to my playlist. Some current favorites of mine are Katy Perry's Hot 'N Cold, Hide and Seek by Namie Amuro, and Take Me Away by Fefe Dobson.

I almost gave myself whiplash to a Marilyn Manson song though O_o
Since hard rock tends to cause headbanging injuries, I usually prefer to boogie to stuff like The Who (mostly their psychedelic stuff), Led Zep, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, Stars, New Pornographers...ooh or Ratatat! I actually named my Swisha piece after a song of theirs ^^

why is the fire hydrant become like this??
It's really fun finding out you don't dance as badly as you thought, and your trip sounds like fun, even if it was almost dangerous.
That's cool to know. I've heard of several of those groups, but a few I'll have to look up. The DJ at the club we went to tended more towards pop or dance stuff (I know I heard "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry and "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga during the night.)
