Artist's Comments
This is the design that helped me realize that I could actually create something worthy of the title art. This actually began as a random sketch on the back of a handout while I was taking a class. I drew random doodles all the time on the back of random scraps of paper, in the margins of my notes, and on the backs of handouts, etc. but this one grabbed the attention of a few people while I was still on the first circle.
Once I covered the entire page with random elements, I realized that those doodles i did could actually be something worth doing more seriously, so I felt this would be the best image to put up as my first deviation. I can't seem to find the original scan of this image and I don't have a working scanner at the moment, so I'll just have to put up a slightly smaller file until I can re-create the image digitally. |

Right now I've been mostly using Flash to do the actual designs with PhotoShop for cleanup (I love the precision of being able to rotate an element exactly 15 degrees), but I have thought about trying some work on a larger canvas with markers or maybe even paint at some point.
