Description
Whew. Well, I still want to go back and add more of a background at some point, but I'm not really sure what to do for one. For now, though, this is my attempt to paint the lovely lineart Fairy and Water Lilies provided by 
through the 
. The lines were really fun to work with, and I hope I did them justice. The hair was both the most fun and the most challenging part of the whole piece. It's so wild and flowy that I just kept having to add in more bits of shadow or highlight then zoom out to see where I needed to go next.
I've been working on this piece on and off for a few weeks now, between working on animations, Capricorn, a new design for the 4th of July, and a range of other things. This was completely painted in PhotoShop using the basic hard paint brush and eraser.
Anyway, I hope you guys like, and if you have any comments or critique, please share. I'm still working to improve my technique.

I ended up working on this one too. I find it intriguing how every person has a different take on a few black and white lines... mine being radically more different than the norm... 
Awesome job on the wings and hair. (I'm dreading shading the hair) And the pink at first glance seems out of place but at the same time isn't too overpowering and is kind of flashy. So yeah, great job all around!
